It’s been a minute since the last blog, but things are crackin’ at Bullskullz.com! With less than 90 days until the Western Design Conference in Jackson Hole, WY, things are heating up in the shop. Speaking of heat, summer has arrived in Texas. After what seemed like 40 days and 40 nights of rain, the sun finally came out and it’s currently hotter than a 2 dollar pistol!
Anyway, there's lots going on with the business. Signed up a few sponsors, replaced a dang septic tank, and have cranked out a couple more skulls…well, almost. Two are completely carved, somewhat dyed and painted, and another is well on its way. Also have some merch that’s flying off the shelf, I may have to look into getting some more!
I’m currently being thrust into a full blown marketing campaign with Bullskullz.com, which includes placing print ads in various publications, and all that that entails (deadlines, photos, placement, etc.), it’s about more that this ol’ rodeo vagrant/leather slinger can manage. But, with good help around, I’ll get it done! And, to add to that task list, trying to get all of the proper things sent to the outfit who is going to wrap my trailer. Carving skulls and announcing is plumb easy, this business stuff on the other hand is a bit challenging.
